Ryanair only sucks if you don't follow their rules. You'd have to be completely dumb to not know that you have to print off your own boarding card. They even send you an e-mail before departure to remind you.
Also it is best to weight your own luggage before deparure.
Ryanair makes a lot of revenue from people like you,you paid the equivelant of a return to NY.

@EinkOLED It's hard to print boarding tickets when you've been on a tour bus for a month, terrible internet in clubs all over europe and you got wasted the night before...
