i dont know if people will agree or disagree with this but she sounds alot like kelly clarkson too me. Am I on crack or does anybody agree with me that she sounds a little like Kelly Clarkson?

I really think the producers decided to give the Alaina the axe early before she got too popular. They didn't want a Carrie Underwood clone. (Whitaker is a country singer from Oklahoma)

she sang it really good especially after just being so emotional and crying....she sucked it up and delivered...good job

Aww Danny was crying! she was such a good singer, I stopped watching this show when i saw this, she was an amazing singer and she was totaly robbed. you know it is kinda weird to see david archuleta in the background

@ZangerRBourquin It has nothing to do with being professional or not. When you are extremely upset you cannot control how hard you are crying or not. And I guess you're calling people like Marie Osmond and tons of other well established celebrities unprofessional.

@JoshaLuke for YOUR information -.- I'm a singer myself, and I know exactly what emotional feelings can do to the quality of your voice. But a professional singer doesn't show ;)

@ZangerRBourquin You clearly don't know anything about singing or the human body. A lot of people can barely talk whenever they're crying much less sing. As upset as Alaina was and how much she was crying, yeah...it would affect her singing.

she was deinitely one of my favorites. I think Amanda should have gone home. I really didn't like her at all. Alaina did not diserve to go home.
