Greatest of all time. Pat was the ONLY keeper who not only saved with one hand but caught with one hand. He also invented the jacknife, arching back, one-handed tip-over. And he is a thoroughly nice, modest bloke.

In 1973 he saved two penalties in the same game at Anfield, one from Kevin Keegan and one from Tommy smith. It wasn't televised so there's no visual record unfortunately. When Spurs came to Anfield in the 1973-74 season, Liverpool were awarded another penalty and Jennings saved it (from Emlyn Hughes I think). The ref ordered it to be retaken and Alec Lindsay scored. Incredible goalie. There were so many good ones around then as well.

@08Gillen I think he's the best goalkeeper in 1980s, even better than Zoff and Rinat Dasaev

@tonyster2 no , jennings never had a goal scored against him, any other questions?
-
So.....Did anyone ever score against him?

the one handed save is probably the best i have ever seen. What an incredible keeper this was.
