1962 B-side of single Evening In Paris
The song was produced by legendary Sixties producer Joe Meek. All the images ( unless i`ve slipped up ! ) are Joe Meek produced records.
The song is Theme From `The Traitors` although this is a non-existent programme/ film.
The song is finally being used as a theme song - to the film `Telstar` which is a bio-pic of Joe Meek . The film is due for 2009 release.
In the movie The Traitors, the theme is played as a march instead of a rock and roll piece.

Finally got to see the original film, "The Traitors". The soundtrack is by Johnny Douglas and contains a few variations of the theme that are very nice indeed.

@jenks1937 - it was. It totally captured the feel and imagery of that era. Did you see the film, Telstar? It was fantastic. To see the start of Chas Hodges career as a session bassist was amazing - before his piano switch and Chas 'n' Dave years.

Super video - thanks!!! I loved "Telstar". It's criminal that it got such limited distribution. I suspect it will have a long life on dvd though. The best British film for many years

This is COOL, even though I hate to use that word. The sound of the electric piano, and the way it is introduced with a less-than-perfect edit - just pure Meek!
