@DavidArthur1972 can you use a jar attachment on that machine. I need a new one and was looking at this type but never noticed if it has a attachment port. i jar seal things i use weekly.

The Westin vacuum sealer ROCKS!!! Industrial strength and MUCH easier to use than the not-so-long-lasting Food Saver.. :-)

@didanhtennis When using an oxygen absorber you can ideally store 5-10 years in a mylar bag

Hey, that looks really cool! I noticed you didn't bridge the sealing bar. The sealing bar on my Foodsaver compresses the bag so air is not sucked out. Looks like your sealing bar allows air to pass through?
