@travelplus1 sorry to burst your bubble, buddy, but i have both the ipod and the kindle, and the ipod has a tiny screen, strains your eyes, is impossible to read in sunlight, is more expensive, and it just isn't made for reading books.

I bought the IPOD 4G 64GB because its small and the screen is so amazing. Along with a better web browser , applications, the ability to use Skype, Play games and more makes the IPOD Touch a clear winner. Now I can go on flights and have entertainment without lugging my laptop. The Apple 3G is the best Ebook reader as you can watch YouTube, Netflix and Hulu streaming content. Sorry to burst your bubble ,

@vinylrecordcollector You're saying that if something can't fit in your pocket, that it's not portable? That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard. Go back to your kindergarden class your ignorant piece of garbage. It's portable because you can take it with you anywhere.

@fr3nzi What's so horrendous about the iPhone's screen? The Kindle is horrendous because of its size. You have to hold the dang thing in your hand everywhere you go. The iPhone, on the other hand, can be put in your pocket, therefore resulting in TRUE portability.

The Kindle's Whispernet is the Sprint data network. It comes with the Kindle no monthly fees. Keyboard is for adding notes and searching.
