Well what I say folks. This is a gr8 rendition of a lovely song. I have to thank a top contributor XNDER for sharing this fine artist with me. This track is taken from his 1973 album "January" and is the opening cut.
I remember seeing Bill with his original group, Woodbine, at the Catacombs Coffee House somewhere around 21St. and Wisconsin Ave. here in Milwaukee The guitar harmony was awesome. If you ever find their first album, Roots, it's worth the listen! It's great to hear his music again!
Camplin's still singin strong in his Cafe Carpe in Fort Atkinson WI. You may need to bug him to sing Rock/Friend but if nothing else you'll get some revelatory Dylan interpretations or something from his latest CD Old Bones
You need to put "January Guitar" from this album on here! I own this album, bought it in '74, but don't have a turntable to play it on! Thanks for sharing this!
