Lastly, my favorite activity, karate. I do this pretty much every night in the park. I love it!
This is the first time video-taping myself doing karate, so naturally, now that I've uploaded it, I see all kinds of little things that need improving. lol!
I also realize the value of practicing with a mirror, and with lines. I'm used to just moving around in the grass, and after a long time, you start fudging the directions. Yikes! Oh, well! :_)
But since I know I'm not perfect, and this is all in good fun, I figure, whatever. Enjoy!

I am a 2nd-degree black belt in Wado-ryu, trained under Mr. Keith Jones.

  • Lairofgarscaddon what is this Karate or Taekwondo? I can't tell because your track has been disabled.

    They both look the same.

  • yeah, I hate it. Just play some Dream Theater in the background and it will sound awesome.

It's a style of Karate: Wado-ryu. Actually, it was originally considered a form of Jujit-tsu, all because the philosophy is the same: way of peace and harmony.

  • wahahaha r u a black belt lol, dude I practice shaolin kungfu eagle claw, that form of yours....you need a dissaprin LMAO train harder man, your blocks are a little wussy, your arm is all dangling , it should be steady....sayonarrow

  • Well, I wasn't really good at any team sports, and karate was something that I could keep doing until I was really old. It made the most sense to me. Also, I find the technique of wado-ryu, and any practical martial art, to be very, very fascinating. I've read several biographies on Bruce Lee, too. he was a very big inspirational figure for me growing up. I really wanted to be like him when I grew up.

  • Wow, that's really amazing. How old were you at that time?

Training everyday for the past four years. You're obviously very passionate about this! Lol

What inspired you to start taking classes exactly? :0

  • It's also important to note that I've been training most every day of the week for the past four years.

  • Thank you so much! I got my 1st-degree blackbelt in 2005, and started karate around 2001 or 2002. I'm coming on about 7 years now.

  • How exiciting! I've been a fan of yours for a while now and have always been curious to see you perform what you've learned in Karate since we've all heard that you enjoy it so much. ; )

How long have you been taking Karate classes? You really have a great form~! : )
