~At the hospital the doctors took x-rays of demi's throat and become worried when they see her condition~

Mother-yeah? what is it? what does she have? *scared*
Doctor-Im terribly sorry your daughter has developed throat cancer *looking down*

~2 years later~
Demi-sitting in her room quietly doing homework wishing that she can be singing sighs*

~demi finishes her homework and turns off the lights to make her mother think that she was sleeping she sat on her bed hugging her legs with her head on her knees she started humming her song she had her eyes closed~

Demi-*her throat felt dry so she got up and walked towards the door she ran into something and fell back on the floor*OW! *she whispered*
???-*turned on the lights*
Demi-*saw him*AHHHH!!! *jumped*who are you?

Demi-what do you want *she held her throat which hurt because she screamed*
Joe-im here to tell you that you have a year left to to live
Demi-what?
Joe-im an angel ive come to be with you untill your last breath of air
Demi-oh. . . i only have one year left?
Joe-*nodded*
Demi-okay well i'll have to make my life fun then *smiled*
Joe-you not afraid of dieing?
Demi-no im okay with it
Joe-*nodded*go to sleep and dont hum
Demi-why and i need water and by the way you dont boss me

Demi-*rushed into her bed and covered herself*
Joe-*turned off the light and came next to her and sat on the bed right beside her head*her get your water
Demi-*drank some*thanks *she whispered*hide! *She hissed*
Joe-*rolled his eyes and wrapped his arm around her shoulder to make her more comfortable*close your eyes
Demi-*did as told*
Mother-*came in to the room and looked at demi asleep*oh *she looked down a sigle tear came down her cheeks and hit the floor she didnt want to lose demi she walked out of the room*
Joe-*noticed and loked back down at demi*
Demi-thanks you *she whispered refering to him making her more comfortable*
~next day at walking to school~
Demi-*walking alone when*
Joe-why didnt you wait for me?
Demi-gah! oh its you well i need to go to school im always apsent
Joe-well you need to wait for me what if something were to happen on the way?
Demi-sheesh calm down im not going to die. . .yet*she looked down*
Joe-*felt a pang of guilt*
Demi-*smiled looking up*but its okay as long as i have you ill be okay cause you'll be here to protect me *smiled*
Joe-(Thinking-how can she be so happy after i told her that she had one year to live?)*smiled at her a fake smile* alright lets get cha to school we dont want you to get in trouble
Demi-*laughed*
Joe-*fake smiled and when she wasnt looking he frowned*
