The case is supposed to go the other way in the holster, without the screen showing, to provide protection for the screen in a fall.
Question: Does the clip come off the holster....I'm a chick and I want to just use it as a screen protector cover and not as a belt clip. Another Question: How do you feel the plastic membrane protects the screen in a fall with direct hit to the screen?
Please respond as I am trying to decide between defender or armor case. Thanks!!

The clip seems snapped on, but it doesn't appear to come off easy. The plastic membrane is just that, a membrane. In case of a direct hit the screen could still break. I don't think any membrane through which you can still operate the phone will provide total screen protection.
