I have a camp within 5 miles of this spot right on the River trail and I think I'm one of the few folks in the area who enjoy the trails. I haven't ridin out sandy creek for quite some time now, last time I was out there I hit some bricks in this tunnel and almost wiped out so I'm glad to see they relined it. Does anyone know it this trail is paved on the west bank of the river past belmar? and if so how far?

I never rode that side. Maybe I'll try it next time up. I live about 45 minutes to an hour away. I wish I had access to a camp up there. My 2 little girls would love it up there. Enjoy it.

Is there a trail from Emlenton to Kennerdell?

There is a trail from Emlenton to Kennerdell, but just north of the Kennerdell tunnel, local land owners blocked off the trail. There is a way around, but it involves dirt roads. Just north of there, you can get back on the trail and ride all the way north to Franklin. check out this map on this site of the trails. The tunnel in my video is the Sandy Creek Tunnel. You can find your way to Brandon (just north of where it's closed off) to park and ride the trail north.
