Well at least your right about one thing I do have guns and bullets and will defend my self and my family from criminals ( and I have already done so) . My city was destroyed by a natural disaster I know more about survival than you may think.

Secondly, your sense of reality is skewed in that you believe that your bubble of a backyard can't be accessed by people who are just as (if not more) hungry than you are. Let's not even fathom the idea of looters having weapons to commandeer your belongings, your argument will probably be "I have more guns and bullets than all of them."
