You can get H.264 in a WMV wrapper? How do you do that and why is it better than mp4?
Also, excuse me for being a noob, but if I render in H.264, but does it have to be HD frame size? Can I render in a smaller frame size and still get the good quality?

Im going to purchase the tohiba Camileo HD and it ays its H.642 so if i import a video into sony vegas then i edit then render do i render as.. MainConcept AVC/AAC ? and will it come out HD... and its that the only file i can save as!!?? .. please reply.. thanks

how did you render H.264 in Sony Vegas? I have Pro 8 and don't see that option. Closest is H.262, 263

AVC is H.264
Using Save As Type you can put it in an MP4 wrapper using the Main Concept Codec (it's H.264) depending on output size you might want to use Custom.
You could choose Main Concept MPEG and use one of the Blu Ray templates.
I find the best implementation of H.264 for streaming is using Windows encoder in the WMV wrapper. (Save As Type Windows Media Video v9)
You can't wrap the audio and video in a Quicktime container as H.264 (.mov).
