Clovis the Conure rolls over "Doggie Trick"

Here is Clovis my cherryhead conure. He is almost 3 years old. I noticed he would do 360 degree rolls on his perches and decided to teach him to do it on command. He gets pine nuts as a reward (his favorite)!

It took several outtakes to get this as you will see. From talking in the background, Clovis getting tripped up, or bumping into the cage side or even me getting my hand cue in the way (I move my hand in a circle). I should also point out on the good outtake someone decides to open our very creaky door that doesn't entirely sound like a squeaky door, my apologies (it really is a creaky door).

Enjoy, and try it with your bird, he picked this up in less than a week, probably about 3 days.
