Alone Jack thinks if same, when he doesn't want to deal with Aron, when he wants return to the island or when he wants to change everything. Does this to have an opportunity with Kate but not for Claire that is his sister.

I think that Sawyer deserves it much more and has to finish with him that really wants it.

I know, that you hate Jack´s character, but I don´t care about it, if you hate him, it´s rubbish I like Jack´s character but obviously writers are for S/K, Jack´s storyline is about faith in the island, and Jack will have faith, it´s sure, only 1 day to Lost, Jack will find truth on the island and Kate will be together with Sawyer, I always had some feelings that Jack and Juliet will die at the end of this show, and now Damon Lindelof said it about it that he wants Harry do die at the end.
