not for nothing this is considered by some the greatest film ever made: certainly one of the best endings and is easily one of the most staggering black and white cinemascope films ever made for me easily Antonionis masterpiece, far and away better than anything else he ever did: some of the later stuff is just unwatchable, but here....well film never got any better than this in places
