Went there a couple of years ago . Amazing lunar landscape.

@travelingcompanions It's sort of my dream vacation to go there. I just searched Scotland Travel and your video came up lol.

Well, SanguineBullet667, I guess the cattle are warm enough in Texas without any extra hair! Scotland is truly great place; good for the soul, too. I'm a Scot but I live in England. Why were you looking at these videos - were you planning a trip there?

@travelingcompanions Sorry I didn't mean to post that twice. Yea, I live in Texas so I've never seen anything like those. We've just got longhorns here. When I saw your video I really couldn't believe that's Scotland because the sky isn't gray! haha. I really want to go there.

Highland Cows, SanguineBullet667. Wikipedia says 'Highland cattle or kyloe are an ancient Scottish breed of beef cattle with long horns and long wavy coats which are coloured black, brindled, red, yellow or dun. The breed developed in the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles of Scotland. Breeding stock has been exported to the rest of the world, especially Australia and North America, since the early 20th Century'.
The kids and the dog and I are going here in July (14th) for a week...CANNOT wait! :)

Have a great time, @TheBora1968. Cross your fingers but, if it does rain, you'll still have a great time.

This is utterly beautiful!
What was the temperature like, though? Was it rather cool?

Sorry, I'm so long in replying! Not cold - you could feel the warmth on your face, but you did need to wear a sweat short or some kind of jacket.
