Scugog Island Cruises Port Perry wedding scout & FULL REVIEW

That is My SON in the video with my future wife, Marlene...Today we were scouting Scugog Island Cruises of Port Perry as a venue for our upcoming wedding. Please keep in mind that we are Not associated with this company in any way, and offer only our own personal opinions, this is a truly independent review. On June 28, 2008 we took part in one of their daily Sightseeing cruises that they offer. They also offer Wedding cruises, Private charters, and Corporate events. Most can be custom tailored to your requirements.. We took this day to look at every aspect of what we wanted in a very extra special venue, and to help make our mind up on our upcoming wedding. This business offers Daily cruises from their 119 Queen Street Downtown Port Perry Location on the water. The ship holds 100 people. 2 Floors (DOUBLE DECKER !!) Super clean washrooms. We found that the staff was pleasant , looked very professional in clean uniforms, and was very respectful to everyone. Service from the bar was quick and reasonable in pricing and selection. The captain approached every single person on the ship, greeted us all, and welcomed us aboard, it was nice to see such a nice personal sincere interaction with the patrons. We were treated like VIP guests, and all of our questions were answered by staff. During the cruise I started to poke around, upon closer inspection of the boat, it showed that it is very well built, well maintained, VERY clean, and very safe appearing. Signage throughout the boat was clear, important Safety instruction was provided by staff upon leaving the dock via a live demonstration. Onboard GPS was available to be watched throughout the cruise. The onboard sound system was adequate, but it could be improved in quality of sound. Total enclosures around the boat are custom made, and can provide a dry experience in the event of difficult weather, without hindering viewing pleasure. We had total access to both floors, and were welcome to experience the different viewing areas at our own pace, and at our own will. We are choosing Scugog Island Cruises as the host of our spacial day because it will be a total package deal. We dealt with Lonnie, who is a staff member that made everything so easy for us. The pricing package was very reasonable, and we had everything packaged in a custom built package that we could afford. I recommend Scugog Island Cruises for either a Daily sightseeing cruise (2+ hours) or a special event. If this helped out in any way, tell them you seen Bill's video on Youtube !
