@Masowai They're not related to cats, that's just an old nickname they got before we were better able to classify them. Nickname = Civet cat, Real Name = Civet (EX: African Small Civet)
They're actually more closely related to Raccoons.

hmf. yes they said to carry such thing, like it was that the coffee produce by them carry e-coli, but still its not proven by experts. i have many civet cat hir asian palm but most of them are caught wild actually i saved them from hunters hir because of exotic food or sumthing lyk dat i dont lyk dat habit, so pls ol animal lover and breeder help us save them

i just got a civet and its as big as the one in the cage. mine is so feisty. i have to hold him with a glove or it'll bite. is it still easy to tame?

@JessyScarlet It take time to tame especially adult civet. But still they are unpredictable and will bite. Even during play they bite. Both of these civet had escape from my home to the jungle just behind my house. But I still have the small tooth civet which is more docile but at time are very aggresive.

If still kitten, easy to tame as it get attached to human companion easily. If caught from the wild, then it difficult to tame. The parents of this civets had be en domesticated and used to human.
