@TheWarPlanet TWA was consistently the US' #1 on-time airline (and had the least baggage issues) year after year from 1997 'till its absorption by American Airlines. It was America's most reliable airline during its final years.

I'm going to go and Apply for a job there this week, sounds like a great place to work,, I can hardly wait !

Yikes I remember watching this in-flight video

Only BA and Air France were supersonic with the Concorde.. Braniff International had a lease on some Concordes, but never chose to implement the purchase of any aircraft... because of the sonic boom it was never practical... with the new supersonic research NASA has been doing.. that may change..

If you all think about it, if TWA was still around it would have sucked just like the rest.

Great airline. You know here in Europe we see the same thing. Hapag Lloyd is no gone as a brand as so many others. It´s all about money. Sad but true. I loved Pan Am, TWA, Eastern, PSA, Braniff and all the one´s I forgot here. May the brands rest in peace and not be raped by assholes !

@crosschecker your wrong. the airline was doomed all on its own

does TWA accept CHASE reward points?

My mom worked for TWA from 96-99 or so...she flew free and we as family flew for about $20. You don't know how much I miss those days...

@crosschecker I got my numbers from Wikipedia, I guess this site isn't always right. thanks for your correction :-)
