you can hit the note like that, but a note counts when you put a pleasant tone to it, not like you that sound like the fake aliens at the fanta commercial

@trlkly Thanks for the tip! Will check it out!

@issueagent That said, tenors are extremely prized these days. Don't ruin a higher voice just to get low notes. Make sure that, if you do this, you can still hit your top notes, too.
-
@issueagent If you really want it, you may be able to train for it using the technique in my previous response. Just let your voice naturally growl when it goes lower, and try to keep it connected. One day, you'll wake up in the morning, and you'll be able to hit a lower note than usual.
At least, that's how I, who used to stop at a G2, can now hit a Db2, and keep an F2 throughout the day.

I think you are doing what bassos profundos do--you know, those Russian bases that sing below the piano. You're taking that vocal fry--that growly voice you use when you are talking and reminds people of a smoker--and blending it with your normal voice.
It produces and unusual effect. You don't sound like a (male) baritone, but you don't really sound like a normal contralto, either. The only thing I can say is that your speaking voice sounds like a low-voiced guy feigning a feminine voice.

I'm a guy and I don't even have that note! D:

@WyldFire777 I'm also a female baritone... when I was 14, my voice started getting lower, and by 16, I was lower than the boys and getting mistaken for my father on the phone. I'm 32 now, and I'm playing the bass and guitar in a band, and proud to sing the baritone harmonies for the male tenor lead singer. X-) Like you, I can hit an F2 first thing in the morning sometimes, but G2 is normally my limit... like Aretha Franklin or Ivete Sangalo... so hit those low notes proudly. :-)

Why is everyone asking if this is a girl? They should listen to Sarah Vaughan, she could go even lower than this.

@animegirl4994 I think you mean C3...

Wow that is incredible!!! My voice is low too ... but not that low ... maybe only when I'm sick, but F? And stop asking her if she is a female you idiots! She is born with that voice and this is a gift because is unique!

@MYantahtova Thank you. ^_^ But yeah, this note is actually unusual for me too. It was only when I first woke up that I was able to get down to this note.

i was scared. are you really female?

@ditogeezdee Yes. Yes, I am. And the only reason my voice was this low was because it was when I first woke up. Usually it's slightly higher.

Wow. Have you trained your voice to go really low or does it come naturally to you? I don't get that much extra range first thing in the morning, but when I read that the voice can be lower first thing, I tried it and actually hit the A2 I'd been trying and failing to sing for 24 years (the low note in a-ha's Take On Me). Since then I've occasionally managed to hit the note at other times of the day but I still can't do it consistently or well. Lowest I can hit consistently is a weak Bb2.

@SnowSunbather I've also never had any professional singing lessons, but I did take choir for a couple years in high school.
I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm curious, are you male or female?
