Using a differential, switch and a motor, you can control large power with small input power. This kind of steering is quite precise and powerfull.

  • Very precise! i like it! I wonder if you can put a M-motor (geared down a lot) on the steering wheel attachment, and make it 100% Power Functions. It would make a very well-steering racecar! you could even add some RC motors to the rear!

  • pretty tight steering radius

  • Nicely done! At the moment I'm trying to recreate your servo thing, but instead of a switch I'm using a pf remote.

  • Wow, great idea! Love it.

  • search "lego rc steerin servo"

  • @mydadyrocks I used a worm gear. The differential is powered by that worm gear on top, the PF switch goes to oen differential output and the steering goes to the other differential output.
