@ezlayed Is this still a good GPS? It's one of the best selling garmin GPS out there, but since it's a bit outdated, I would like to know if I should purchase this? I don't need many features, just a simple cheap reliable navigator that tells me where to go.. There's still alot of good reviews about this particular model, but I'm worried it might be too outdated for updating maps, firmwares and such.. I have a 5 year old GPS, and the model is gone for good. Don't want this model to happen.

This video is OK for what comes in box, but does not really state why the 255W is a better choice than competing GPS units, just that 255W is a great GPS. Also, if you want to know how to use the features on the 255W, just watch the final 2 or so minutes, which has limited details; there are probably better instruction videos on how to use a 255W on YouTube.,

I'm waiting for my refurbished 255W from Newegg.ca to arrive. Paid $89.99 for it. Thanks for the unboxing. The two things I learned were you can pick different car icons and it charges while plugged into the computer.
