I recommend either the Robocut or the Flowbee. I chose the Robocut because it can cuts down to 1/4 inch hair. Interestingly you can find both the Robocut and their competitor , the Flowbee, at Robocut's main website. They also have a Flowbee vs Robocut chart. Here is a link.

The free shipping that I mentioned must have been a special offer at the time that I ordered. It looks like you will have to pay some shipping now.

  • wht vac u sued

  • @holman26 I just used my regular house vacuum.

  • I got one, but it's starting to pinch/ pull the hair a little. I've cleaned it, but it doesn't help. Have you had this happen?

  • @muppetspuppets I haven't had any problems like that. You may need to buy a new blade.

  • So is it hard to get the sides layered like that cause I wouldn't really care about my hair cause I like it long layered but for my son, I would like a longer hair cut with the sides tapered like yours...I heard you mention three or so different lengths.

    Thank you

  • @aburame999 It just takes some practice. I set it on the shortest setting and roll the machine up from the bottom and out to get the taper I like.

  • Cut your hair every week? Seriously? How freakin long does how grow in a week, really? A micron? Hair only grows 4 inches in a year. Why men think they need a stupid haircut on a monthly basis never ceases to amaze me. They is something called "styling product," check it out.

  • OMG-should u be wearing ear plugs?

  • They say there is nothing like a sharp dressed man. Even if the thing doesn't do a perfect job one's hair always looks so much better when it is trimmed up nice, regardless whether it is long or short. I had a Flowbee and it finally crapped out after getting dropped a few times, but it always did a pretty good job. I want a new one and I think I will try this one. Cheers and thanks for the demo.

  • I got my Robocut 8 years ago and never looked back. It sucks, in a good way! No, I would never admit to using it. Yes, I've saved a bundle on haircuts for me and my little ones. The cut usually turns out better, I can do it more often, and it is MUCH faster (maybe <5 minutes) than having someone else cut it (which is great for little ones who can't sit still for long). I can usually get the same cut every time. Just make sure you keep it oiled. I usually keep mine attached to a small vacuum.

  • your hair looks like conan o brien.

  • You look like Stephen Baldwin

  • Thanks for your video. You gave me the courage to order this thing. Within an hour of it being delivered, I cut my hair, my husband's hair and my daughter's hair. All look as good as what we were paying for, and I'm sure I'll get better with practice. Meanwhile, one more haircut and the thing is paid for. All others beyond that will be free.

  • @aircutdotcom And your user name is aircut too, how convenient

  • Why can't they make one without the vacuum cleaner? Like a hairdryer, but one that sucks not blows. It isn't rocket science. Attaching a vacuum cleaner sucks. That's what stops me from buying this.

  • I use an AirCut instead. Much smaller and lighter. aircut.com
