I actually saw this movie after 13 Assassins introduced me to Takashi Miike's work. Funny that the samurai guy is actually played by the same actor who played my fave character in "13 Assassins" :D

I agree, so much XD Weapon choice aside, I also think he looks a bit like Spike, seeing as other people have also been comparing the film to Cowboy Beebop :)
