Garage Wars in Sibley, Iowa. Just the 3 of us race Old Man Winter in this 10 day build.

Inaugural flight too! Just us 3 guys vs Old Man Winter. (I was the Electrician so had the easy part) The race was to get this garage done before the snow flew, so I could put my Model A Ford in for the winter. This is High speed action. Few folks would ever find contractors like these guys I would bet. By necessity, I needed to increase the size of my "studio", so I could continue making videos. I asked around and found that my own friends, Derrick Peterson and Lyle Ver Steeg were overwhelmingly qualified to do this project. I helped the best I could in the cold, did all the electrical work, and assembled the opener, but that was nothing compared to the strict standards these guys stuck to, no matter what.
A lesson from them could be learned by all. When I hire someone, it is difficult to know what will happen. From what I saw and you will too, you will see there were no shortcuts and all measurements were precise. If something was wrong, they took it apart and made a new one. That is amazing attention to detail.
The Schnepf's Lumber yard also is unlike any I have ever seen. They knew every single piece of wood, shingle, etc that was needed and brought it all in shipments as we needed them. Any left over pieces, they picked up and gave us credit for!. That is all amazing.
