When you say"I hear Marty Robbins style in the Glasers", the harmonies were written by Jim Glaser. So really, Marty sounded like The Glaser Bros! Jim is one of the greatest singers to this day!! Come to Alabama Jim!

Love this Greeley, Nebaska guy ! What talent !!!!

On Netflex you can see some of the earlier recordings of Marty Robbins with the backup singers of The Glaser Brothers, from the early 1950's. I can't remember if it was the stream or the Dvd's.

Very Nice...His voice is outstanding still today...just listen to Woman, Woman he recently did on RFD-tv...WOW!!! Why can't any of todays singers sound like him and do a beautiful song like that...it would be nice to hear this kind of music on the radio again!!!

Great...I love it....

you can definately hear the glasers in the background on the songs they did with marty. And yes, you can definately hear marty's style in any of their music. Cracked me up too cause even jim moved his head the way marty used to!

yes, the glaser brothers did quite a bit of background singing for marty!! In my opinion if you listen to any of the glasers you can hear marty in them.. or I should say martys style!

Let us not forget the guy to Jim's left, my uncle Paul Gauvin, not a Glaser but none the less a family favorite to us.... Uncle Paul You Rock!
It's good to see Jim again. I've always admired his talent. Thanks for this video.
