its not a stereotype, its a generality. in todays day and age, most of the suicide bombers are of middle eastern decent, therefore, it makes perfect sense to hire a middle eastern actor to play one.
if they made an ad where a black person eats fried chicken and drinks orange soda, that would be a stereotype, because chicken and soda consumption is more evenly distributed across all ethnicities, though associated with southern blacks.
