This is the fifth conference in the series and has been organised in the memory of 34 Turkish diplomats and other innocent victims who were murdered by various Armenian terrorist groups between 1973 and 1985. The aim of these conferences is to promote mutual understanding and discuss issues concerning Turkish-Armenian relations both recent and historic, on an academic platform.

So what is he trying to prove, by giving geographical conditions of the area he is he trying to deny the Genocidal acts by the Ottoman soldiers and vicious Kurds. It is just pathetic what this crackpot "professor" said, just disgusting.

It is interesting to note that Professor Sevket Pamuk who chaired this lecture by

McCarthy, had signed the public apology to the Armenian people by a group of Turkish intellectuals over two years ago.

He must have been so impressed by McCarthy that he withdrew his signature a couple of days after the lecture !! Or was it because he came under pressure to do so? We don't know

Prof. McCarthy comes accross as a very decent man, aboslutely honest and sincere. He tubmled over this topic while researching the Caucasus population movements. If he had sided with the Armenians, he could have been very rich.

Who pays the Armenian allegationists?

Would Orhan Pamuk get the Nobel Prize if he did not utter some stupid remarks?

It is very Armenian to slander a professor without any proof, just because he did not join the Armen geno club.
