Uhh cultures all around the world record a flood dude.
Flood happened. Boat was prolly real. Though it may also be symbolic.
But I definitely believe it literally happened that way.

@aaugoaa, you have many valid points. I rule out the higher consciousness parts. But all the symbolism, especially the symbolism of the animal traits is excellent. BUT when Jesus spoke his eloquence is unexcelled. He spoke with many meanings and with very short and concise things. Therefore I believe that things in the Bible can be BOTH literal and figurative.

how long is a cubit?

some say a cubit is about 17 to 21 inch. the window in the ark would have been very small, lol
but i do not believe it is a real window biggy.
