  • I'd like to clarify something here that may not be apparent to all people;

    In this video, the people she explains are lying have already been proven to lie before this video aired. She uses footage of people who have already been proven to lie to demonstrate her points.

    I'll let interpretation to people. I don't want to draw any conclusions, only to make aware of this fact.

  • @philinmotion Completely agree, it's jumping to conclusions. When a cop would raid my house bring me to the station and ask: Did you kill that twelve year old girl, I would make pacifying movements as well. Because the thought alone is repulsive and you know that you need to be extra careful not to land falsely accused into prisson. So it's a very emotive state not strange that some people actually do false confessions being in such a mental awkward state. Often the real perps are prepared!

  • she is full of shit

  • wow that's melancholic -_- lying should be a deduction not a clear phenomenon you can "see" in a person's face. you can read retention, concurrence, stress, opposition, compassion ... but not lies. that's an opinion by the way ^^

  • @rdoetjes Thanks for your response. Yeah we've got to be careful, exactly.

  • Respond to this video... and thus are more at ease than the innocent guy. Too comfortable can also be as sign of suspicion. But it's just that, suspicion! You need to ask well crafted questions to definitely pin someone down. Even that's stil circumstantial proof so nothing goes above tangible evidence.

  • It's a bit like cutting the corners. Licking sure is a pacifying motion, and looking away or closing your eyes for your lie is too but it's not a dead give away perse. You need a baseline deviating from this baseline can be indicative and only with some "smart" questions can you make a definitive statement otherwise not!

    Here we see people being analyzed all found guilty not really a subjective double blind test so you can easily reason to fit the outcome.

  • Repulsive reactions also occur in subject telling the Truth. If you're focus is on spotting the lie, the greater your chance of getting it wrong.

    A body can tell the truth even if the person is lying, if there is no defense, no lie.

    I personally highly doubt that Deborah King really is a "Truth detector", I think she is over evaluating her actual skills and thus deceiving herself.

  • its so hard not to see that gerry mccann is a liar and he uses all the obvious signs of a liar
