Jack Kirby Exhibition Video-Tour 1

First of four video-tour mini-movies of the Jack Kirby exhibition at the Fumetto Comics Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, May 1-9 2010, with co-curator Paul Gravett. This covers the two ground-floor galleries, spotlighting the introductory section on Kirby's childhood, war years and pencilling process, and the first selection of original artwork for American comic books from 1942 into the mid-Fifties.

Hi J Murray, glad you enjoyed the tours! This was an incredible gathering of Kirby original art. There are sadly no plans for this to travel anywhere else, as all of the artwork has been safely returned to the generous lenders. But I have every hope that a major Kirby retrospective can and will happen eventually in the States, and i hope this show may have planted the seed for that to become a reality.
