Joe DASSIN - Et si tu n'existais pas (avec Rimbaud)

Rimbaud et Verlaine....English: Mid-1970s song by French pop star Joe Dassin in which the singer expresses the sense of urgency he would feel if his lover did not exist . Lyrics are applied to the famous relationships that Rimbaud had with Verlaine and Van Gogh.

Cette vidéo est magnifique !!! J'aime beaucoup la peinture abstraite; elle me parle autant que les chansons, la musique, les poèmes...

Quelle belle façon de faire la démonstration du manque de l'autre qu'on sait exister mais qu'on tarde à rencontrer !!!

@kkrisbat Thanks, Christian. It's interesting how I knew that I loved the song but the lyrics were so simple - how to make a video out of that?? Consider putting the song in the context of complex and unusual relationships. I couldn't think of a better one than Rimbaud and Verlaine. I'm sure there are others but this was the one that came to mind first.
