Linda Couch's story

Linda Couch is a heart disease survivor and heart transplant recipient from Woodstock, GA.
After heart disease took much of her family, Linda knew she was battling for her life as well. Diagnosed with congestive heart failure during her first pregnancy, Linda underwent treatment to strengthen her heart, only to watch her sister die suddenly from the same disease six months later. Linda received a heart transplant on Valentine's Day, and now writes a letter to her donor's family each February 14.
