This is the best explanation and most concise definiton I've seen of any martial art. The philosophy and beliefs and history of each movement and discipline are so well explained that, paradoxically, makes them seem very easy and at the same time impossible to learn in a lifetime. This is really wonderful.

Hi Tao,
Hong Laoshi learned the Chen Pan Ling system of Tai Chi from Chen Pan Ling.
Luo Dexiu has been teaching it in his visits to the states for quite a few years now.
Hong's Tai Chi was different from his main teacher Zhang Junfeng's Wu/Hao style. Not sure who still does this, I heard that Hong's brother had learned it.

I'm pretty certain that Hong Lao Shi learned Wu style Taiji from Zhang Jun Feng. Wu is of course modified Yang style. Both Wu and Hao style come from early Yang style, and many say is more "pure" than the Yang style being taught today by the Yang family. The same can be said of Tung style Taiji.
