Gabrielle LaVerde and DLE's Big Give on FOX 35 05/08

The actual interview on Fox 35 by Shay Harris. Shay interviews Danielle and Gabrielle LaVerde and they discuss Niemann-Pick Type C in detail, Gabrielle's current condition, and her prognosis. They also discuss treatment options and the costs associated with the treatments.

Also interviewed was Ryan Bowling, representing Deltona Lakes Elementary School, where Gabrielle Attends. DLE has raised over $10,500 to help pay for Gabrielle's treatments.

I ran across Gabrielle's story last week, and was hoping to find an update that she was doing better. I'm so sorry to find out that this is not the case. I can't even begin to imagine how horrible this illness is, both for that beautiful little girl and her family, so I won't even try to say I can.

I WILL say that you're all in my prayers. My heart breaks for you.
