Why do you draw it once then re-draw over the top of it again?

@itubeutude its because you want to reduce the amount of detail in the hair etc. you want to use as few points as possible,

@fraserdldavidson then why not just draw as few points in the first drawing? Re-drawing it just seems like a waste of time.

@itubeutude Then why not draw the finished logo first time? Your first attempt is rarely the best. The first time I concentrate on getting the main shapes in, the second is so that I can achieve a constant line width throughout. Its effectively inking over a pencil sketch.
