Something I've never really touched on before through my youtube vlogging is my deep love & respect for animals, veganism, the ethical treatment of animals & ethical vegetarianism (which means seeking out organic, humane sources of dairy/ eggs). I'm aware of that fact that vegetarianism doesn't necessarily equal the ethical treatment of animals. Factory farmed dairy & eggs are produced under very inhumane conditions. Buying organic, raw & from a trusted (humane) source is best if you have a desire to consume dairy/ eggs. Better yet, start up your own organic farm! Base it on permaculture principles! Re-create paradise on Earth!
Even if you don't have a desire to become vegetarian or vegan, I encourage you to find a source of animal flesh that was produced organically & ethically... And do your best to reduce your intake of meat.
Do it for your health.
Do it for the environment. Even if you believe in eating meat, we really need to be thinking about the WHOLE right now. The way meat is produced in this day & age is just too darn destructive to support!
Do it to save lives- Instead of feeding most of the grain on this planet to factory farmed animals, we could feed the grain to starving people!
Do it for the animals- the beautiful, loving, sentient beings, who are blessings to our lives! These animals are nothing but unconditional love who are here to be our companions! It still boggles my mind how so many people have no problem eating a beautiful & intelligent cow or pig, yet if you ask them if they would consider eating a cat or dog, they're completely horrified, like, "How could you say such a horrible thing?" Can we say double standard?

My general approach to life is one that's centered in love, compassion & non-violence. If I don't HAVE to kill an animal, why would I? Eating the flesh of animals is completely unnecessary in this day & age, not to mention completely undesirable in my opinion- If you are the typical meat-eater, who eats conventionally produced meat, you're consuming a rotting piece of animal flesh, packed full of uric acid (URINE), parasites, antibiotics, hormones, FEAR & ADRENALINE! Umm... this is supposed to be appetizing or healthy? I don't get it. :S
The religious, "But God put animals on this planet for humans to eat," in my opinion is absolutely absurd!
"But if we didn't kill animals, wouldn't they over-populate the planet?" No, the only reason why we have so many cows, pigs & chickens is because they are bred incessantly in factory farms for human consumption.
The whole, "But plants have feelings too" argument that meat-eaters use in attempt to justify their consumption of animal flesh is so silly in my opinion. Yes, plants can feel to some degree, sure. But there is a major difference between taking another creature/ beings life against his/ her free will, causing ultimately a cruel death vs. accepting Mother Earth's offerings of freely shared fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, which, being seasonal, whether we accept them (to eat them) in gratitude or not, will fall on the ground, decompose and mix with the soil from where they came from.
