Wow. I'm surprised of the comments. This young girl is not a foreigner, she's an American. She was a brilliant student who tried to secure the best education to make her life better and her families life better. When institutions in place to help those who need them fail, why does the individual get the blame? It doesn't seem to matter how smart she is or the potential she has to offer. She is poor, so she should just stay poor? Why should she not get the chance for a 1st class education?

She messed up big time, I personally turned down a god school because it was high dollar, and I knew my degree wouldn't support that kind of debt for at least 10 years. People put too much importance on what school they go too and not enough on realistic costs. Reality check once you land your first job your degree becomes less important than your work history.

Some people are privileged, not all of them are white. Some only children will have better opportunities but may not use them due to being spoiled and not learning to appreciate what they have. Circumstance dictates that those of us who recognize want and ignorance acknowledge and address them and we as people unite our efforts to lift everyone while defending others, and ourselves, against violence and hatred.

When i use to attend Hi-school in the 80`s. I ask my teacher what kind of job will i get when i graduate? She look at me & :-). She told me NON.so i ask her why should i stay in school? she said she don`t know. So i drop out and started Voc/trade school. My Voc/trade school teacher told me there will be NO JOBs of the educated stool in the future, because their r all competing enemies for the same brainwash ideal. I guess he wasn`t a lair, because the welfare line is packed with educated stool.
