D mac was a warrior...everytime i see that goal against philly it gives me chills.....

I saw him at a restaurant with Hull. I was about 10 or 11 and I asked them for an autograph. Hull signed it all pissed off and McCarty talked to me about the game the day before. When they were leaving, he came by my table and said "see you later kid". It really made my day

ppl think he is just a mean fighter but he is really friendly and nice and he scored the legendary goal against philadelphia

ya i remember when he used to do that he would stay on after the warm up and skate around and throw pucks to the fans.

Please. Having money doesn't make a person any less human or infallible. He made some mistakes, the same as the rest of us. He's suffered for them and is busting his ass to make amends. Give the guy some credit.
