Commentary~

Minnie:
As leader and producer of Zessei Bijin, I had to make one of the most difficult decisions in this entire competition. I alone had to finalize our competition song out of a handful of other great Broadway songs. In the end, I put everything I know about my group members and competitions into consideration... and ended up with "Seasons of Love". Listening to the final product now, I believe I made the right decision, whether we pass this round or not. Last but not least, I am very thankful and grateful to be a Zessei Bijin girl. Zessei Bijin forever~!

Aiko:
No matter what song we are singing, no matter where and when, no matter how tired our throats are or how sick we are, we sing with joy. And also this time, I really enjoyed singing my parts. I remember how surprised I was of "Peace", "Rap" & "Broadway" theme, but it really became seriously fun. Thank God I got the growling part, btw! XD MIXING was hell hard to deal with, but I also think it's important to take critiques and try again until success! Ganbarimasu!

Moon:
I really did not want to do this song at first. It was too predictable for our theme. But I, being the single-minded moron I am, quickly jumped into it when having me arrange the instrumental track was an option, cause I love arranging music. I had fun making the simple animation that spoke 525,600 words without even needing the vocals. *shot* And I'm happy to have, again, worked with this lovely group of ladies I call my second family ♥

hako:
While I've liked both of our previous song selections well enough, this was definitely my favorite song to perform for the competition. My natural voice is very broadway-esque in style, and it was lovely to not feel as cramped or restrained as I usually do trying to sing other styles of music. It was also great getting some lower parts to play off of my higher-voiced sisters :3

Tonkhai:
HAHAHAHATHISSONG. I can't escape. This song stalked me throughout high school chorus and then was also my graduation song, and yet I still think it's awesome. It's fun to attack it from a new angle and bilingually. I had a lot of fun working on the harmonies and diva-ing out. Best of all, I got to sing it with a group of people I super like. I couldn't ask for a better match.

Beibi: We've been kidding around about getting BROADWAY + RAP and yeah, we got that. No matter how mixed up it sounded, I'm happy with how this came out.
