  • Grouse vid, at least this time around MJ made it right with the Urbin rl's un like this Jp6 which are fucked up.

Especially if you use it for hard waste or bundled green waste which is presicely what cleanaway's done, and its blown the motor aswell (surprise surprise)

And it good to see you filming on the job well done.

  • @MegaDirtyHands Cheers brotha, this model MJE rear loader isn't 100% perfect, but it can pack in some serious tonnages :). I heard that the mob who previously owned this truck used it for hardwaste (which is evident by the dints on the edge of the packer). Cleanaway are silly buggers :D. It's not easy handling large bins and a camera at the same time haha, but i will endeavor to get more videos when it's possible.

  • I really like this style packer, the E-Z Packs here in the states use this as well. Seems more entertaining to watch IMO, not too sure how it compares to a standard RL packer performance wise, having no personal experience with either however.

  • @3amrepmike3 The swing link packer is pretty good, sweeps out most of the rubbish in the hopper. Comparing a swing link to a regular packer, i reckon they'd do equally good as each other. I feel rather grateful to be able to operate a classic packer in this modern day, where the swing link packer's are getting close to extinction.

  • great video.

  • @Sean12325 cheers

  • Very nice and simple video showing the operation of the packer! Great job! It runs just the same as the E-Z Pack Goliath (another swing link packer).

  • This is just a wild guess, but is that a Sunbury Garden Bags truck... looks like the lifter on it? Weird seeing the old twin lever set-up as well as a JP6, rare as hell these days. One left at URM, one at Watts Waste and I have seen a few working under small companies and paper recyclers... gotta catch them on video before the body becomes extinct! Funny that US trucks still use this direct valve control and the Aussie trucks are almost 100% electric now... need to go back in time.

  • @tharealsteven Who ever said me couldn't maulty task. wouldn't surprise me, a coolaroo express 4x2 hino mje jp6/swing link i used a for household garbage in the city of yarra contract visy's got, packed 7.5 tonnes on it with out any revving or any thing stupid like that. but its legal a 4 tonnes which we didnt know untill i looked at the rego sticker. if we wanted to wait for 5 mins each time we could of packed 8 tonnes on maybe more. thankfully i'm with angency and am just a runner.

  • Nice vid. It's a fav.
