Hey! I'm the director of DENIED, Dave Scott. Wow, a fan video!  I see Lee's comment here, and I gotta tell ya, he's a very talented guy. To this day, I can't explain how we finished it. ($ ?) The coolest thing was that Lee had so little dialogue to work with and Matt had such exorbitant dialogue -- and both had about 12 days to pull it off... no coverage or medium shots and hardly a close up! That's really rough on an actor (AND an editor, I might add!) Great video, JJ.

I know he's very talented and I'm looking forward to see him in his next projects, as well as yours. Just want to thank you all for supporting this film. Aside from its sound and lighting flaws i did really enjoy shooting the film. I studied the real life person to the extreme and so i hope my portrayal of Troy paid off, and couldn't have done so without the help of the stellar cast and directing.

The clips are from 'Troy Denied' or simply 'Denied', available on Netflix to rent or for instant viewing. Lee Rumohr absolutely blew me away with his spot-on acting. I can't believe he has not become a major star. He uses his body, his hands and facial gestures better than most Oscar winners, and he milks a gallon of emotion from an ounce of expression. I wish I were a movie director - I'd hire him in a heartbeat.
