Rat Finkbeiner wants more rights to your property than you have.

even with government fundin air america crashed and burned. if there was in fact a national audience looking for progressive programs the free market would seize upon it. if you can't sell air time there's no market. i can't stomach progressive whiners.

The mayor's not allowed on WSPD because he held a press conference to call one of their talk show hosts, Fred, a liar. The Program Director, then said, until the mayor took back those statements, he would be banned from WSPD.
Carty's insane. The only way, according to him, to help solve the city's problems is to raise taxes, lay off police officers, and keep the parks and recreation department in full force because the inner city kids need parks...ya know, instead of police and fire officials...

I believe what you are advocating is the Fairness Doctrine as it was practiced. No program is required to provide equall time to important issues only that the station/network make time available. There is no rational possibility of denial to the fact that speech has been limited by media consolidation and the elimination of the Fairness Doctrine and there is also no denial that allowing opposing views on important subjects adds to the public debate and provides the best legislative results.
We do not advocate for the Fairness Doctrine. We merely have a plan to weaken the effects of the Fairness Doctrine on Free Speech and the First Amendment should the Democrat-controlled Congress or FCC decide to re-instate the practice.

Go get 'em, Mayor. Stop this big business sponsored hate radio which denies freedom of speech to millions and millions of americans by presenting only one side of important political debates. I'm for the fairness doctrin because the constitution protects the freedom of the citizen's speech not the radio and TV networks.

By supporting the Fairness Doctrine, you'll effectively silence all sides of political debate. Our organization seeks to expand Talk Radio to include more points of view. We want to save Talk Radio as a commercial enterprise allowing broadcasters to continue to market content that produces profit AND AT THE SAME TIME gives equal airtime to content which has proven to be a commercial failure like that found on Air America.
