@IwillKillYourCereal It was. But ratings were still doing very well, and it was ordered for more seasons and everyone was so happy. Especially since there was more to tell, particularly to Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Wasn't this supposed to be the final episode? It seems like a pretty depressing ending. It's a good thing the network decided to add more seasons :)

I love the Vicar's speech too.He brings tears to my eyes."I had no answer.The sight was being taken away from this child without any reason.And now she gonna teach for blind children."It is very touching.And i do like Dr Baker.He's so discreet and nice.It is so sad he never married,he should have married Kate,Harriet's niece.The vicar married,Mr Edward married twice and Dr baker remained single.It is bad.

@Princess46721 Her blind coach/teacher that Mary met and married after meeting at the blind school on the t.v show. In real life, Mary was never married and lived with her family most of her life.
