here's part 2!!!! :) sorry it's up so late but youtube is being stupid and taking like an hour to upload the videos

Joe's P.O.V.

"So I was thinking maybe something like this," Nick said as he played a few measures on the guitar.
"I like it, but maybe faster," Kevin suggested as Nick played the same thing except faster.
"That sounds better," I said. We were all sitting on the couch in Kevins house brainstorming ideas for a new song.
"What about lyrics?" Kevin asked.
"I actually had an idea," I said. What about:
Silent as a statue on a cold October night
You're watching me like I'm about to burn
And breathing isn't easy when you try to be polite
And trust is not a concept just a word
And this feeling unfamiliar kind of dizzy kind of numb
A candle in the corner lights the room
So I lean across the table whisper look how far we've come
That everything I tell you now is true

I'm so sorry for what I did
We've been friends since we were kids
It's gone, it's gone
And I liked us the way we were
Everything changed because of her
It's gone, it's gone, it's gone," I suggested. I had come up with the idea when thinking about the friends that we had lost touch with over the years.
"I like it," Nick said. "And then what about:
Frozen like an ester (?) in the distance out at sea
You're watching me like I'm not even real
You haven't even spoken yet, but I know what you mean
But I cannot imagine how you feel
There's a water glass in front of you that's cracked along the side
It's empty like a promise so unclear
And I don't have an answer just a moment for goodbye
But this is everything that you should hear."
"I think this is going to be an awesome song," Kevin said. "And we could end it like this:
So I hope that you can hear me when I tell you I was wrong
As you put on your coat and turn to go
Somewhere in the background there's a television on
This is everything that you should know

That I'm so sorry for what I did
We've been friends since we were kids
It's gone, it's gone
And I liked us the way we were
Everything changed because of her
It's gone, it's gone
And I wish this would disappear
Everything that's happened here
It's gone, it's gone
I'm so sorry for what I did
We've been friends since we were kids
It's gone, it's gone, it's gone."
We worked throughout the day and by the end of the day we had perfected the song.
"Devon's going to be home soon, so I'm gonna head back," I said.
"I should go too," Nick said.
"Before you go our manager called and he wants to us to go on tour for about two months in like two years, I know it's early to think about it, but what do you think?" Kevin asked us.
"Yeah, sounds good," Nick and I said as we left.
"So did you guys write any good songs today?" Devon asked when she got home.
"Yeah, I can't wait for you to hear it," I said.
"I wonder what the kids will think of your music," Devon thought.
"Wait, what? Kids?" I asked shocked. Was she trying to tell me something?
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to get you excited, I just meant when we do," Devon said and I just gave her a look that said never do that again.
The next weekend Devon, Sam, Sara, Kevin, Nick, Amanda, Namra, and I all went to the park to people watch.
"Dude, her name is definitely Paula," Nick said.
"Uh, no she looks more like a Jenna," Kevin said.
"Que es tu nombre?" Devon asked the girl. Devon has a tendency to do that, just say random Spanish phrases. Luckily the girl understood her.
"Jenna," she replied.
"Gracias," Devon said.
"Ha! I was right," Kevin said Nick. I sat there laughing and they call me the immature one.
Then we started playing our favorite game: shouting random words at people. I love this game, I love the confused looks we get.
"Artichokes!" I yelled.
"Aliens!" Amanda and Namra yelled.
"Jonas Brothers!" Sara yelled and a bunch of girls screamed and started running towards us.
"Not funny," I said.
"That guy needs a fashion lesson," Sam said once all the fans had left.
"Yeah, white socks and sandals definitely a bad combo," Devon said as we all laughed at how ridiculous the man looked.
I always looked forward to the weekends after that because the eight of us would always hang out and do something fun. Every other weekend Jesse and Luke would join us and we would have just as much fun, they were part of our groups as well.
