  • wow! good job. thanks for posting.

What was your overall biogas production at the end of your experiment?

Did you use any starter microbes in the system or just let it do it thing?

  • Hi,

Thanks for the comments. My overall biogas production was about 100L of biogas per 0.5 kg of food waste at about 70% methane.

Digesters typically are inoculated at start up. We generally use dairy manure as an inoculum.

  • hey Graunke2008 i google u and i get ur paper in PDF ,i like it tnx for posting it.

  • Great, let me know if you have any questions about my video or the paper. How is your digester coming along?

  • I'm very interested in your results.. i have just completed a 44 gallon digester for my home and was wondering about your findings about the output etc..

did you wright a paper on this? if so would you email me a copy?

  • Sorry for the late reply. We did publish a paper from this study. What is your email and I can send it to you.

  • Hi. Very interesting project. Have a couple of questions:

    1. When you started the project, did you remove oxygen from the digester

    2. How much time does it take to generate the biogas for the first time?

    3. Did you find any way to increase the production of biogas?

Appreciate your response. Any way we can get the paper you wrote?

    Thanks

    Sarayu
