Actually Edlinger2 I bounce 3 - 4 times to get my fat fingers into the little pockets; it's a technique i've developed and it seems to work. As for having no clue, I don't know what I should have a clue about...climbing?...the cams?...my technique? Anyway, hope you're climbing strong and having fun. PS the cams were on me because I had never been on the upper slab before, the guidebook says to bring gear, and then when I onsighted the slab (to my great delight & suprise) I found a fixed nut!
