How exactly do you enable prompt to get the Saturn? I tried right at the start of the game but it appears to not along Sega Saturn use that early...

You have to have Saturn games before you can play them. Don't know why Ryo would have a Saturn with no games, but he does.

As I recall, the Saturn's there to reference the fact that Shenmue started development on the Saturn

The only difference between Shenmue's version of Space Harrier and the actual Space Harrier arcade is the music. However Shenmue II's version uses the actual Space Harrier music. Gameplay is the same. I hope one day I can play the actual Space Harrier arcade in person. I believe when it came out, it costs people 50 cents due to the amazing graphics. Another fact is Space Harrier is the most ported game in Sega history.

Being that the game was set in 1986, why has Ryo got a Sega Saturn? Maybe his Dad was a Harware developer at Sega?

LOL I knew that wasn't true, by that, I mean that I was told that the Saturn on Shenmue was actually a Saturn Emulator, That would be WAYYYYY too good to be true, besides, that would make Shenmue cost SO much more...
