Well yeah that's true. Beats is just meant to be that brand name, with that famous "b" logo.

There are plenty of headphones that have better bass for less money.

No not the solo's. They have terrible sound leakage. I am talking about the studio pros. They got great noise cancellation and heavy bass. I'm sure there are similar headphones that compare in specs, but i'm just talking about beat headphones. Still made for rap essentially.

The bass is bad on these is is muddy and slow go with xb-500 or if you want better looks go with UE 6000 which are more expensive but better sound on mids and highs if you want to listen to anything else besides rap.
